I am just discovering your work, but this encapsulates it for me. The technicalities of photography escape me, but the artistry does not. You have taken a subject that is frequently photographed and elevated it to art. The lighting is superb, but what strikes me most is how you have taken the male form and made it not about the sensuous pose but the face. The photo is filled with the model's strong physicality, but in spite of the body filling the photo, it and the bed are only a backdrop for that amazing face. Suddenly there is a wealth of detail; lips,nose, eyes and brows drawing you in to that gaze. As enticing as the body is it is the face that almost seems ready to take flight. There is great power here. However you accomplished it in a technical sense, it is the result that moves me, that makes me want to know just where that gaze is going, and go with it.
